The Devices
A week in a CB-6000: My review
Some good stuff, some disappointing stuff, and a plan to modify the device.

Steel Cage Device
Some people have asked to see some pictures of my modifications to the various chastity devices I own.
To start with, here’s a link to some pics of one of the steel cages that I built a few years before the CB-3000 came out.

I still have the device, but haven’t used it in several years. I don’t have any pictures of me actually wearing it. The odd-looking arrangement of O-rings and straps allowed me to move it enough to use a urinal, but not enough to be able to pull out. By those standards, it was more “secure” than the 3K that I used to replace it.
I wore this device on and off for several years, but never for more than two weeks at a clip. It was comfortable enough, but a bit bulky and it did show a slight bulge.
Note that the padlock goes through the holes in the bottom of the cuff ring; this was surprisingly comfortable, and my underwear usually kept it flat against my body. I surrounded the edges with plastic tubing to prevent pulling and chafing. I never tried bicycling with it on, though.
CB-3000 Mods
These are some pics of some of the older mods to my CB-3000.

The above pic is the threaded locking stud that I made for when I’m flying. You can see the hole drilled through the 1/4″ diameter nylon screw, and if you look closely, a matching hole drilled through the grooved nut. We thread the nut onto the stud and when the holes are aligned, we use a plastic lock or more typically, a plastic cable tie on which Mrs. Edge writes her name. The next shot has one assembled so you can see how it works. The stud was made from a 2″ long nylon screw with a 3/8″ head. I cut the head to 5/16″ in order to fit into the recess in the A ring, and cut the screw to an appropriate length after it was assembled.
In the photo album, you can see a spacer made from the flat sections of the hinged cuff rings. It narrowed the top of the opening to prevent me from wriggling out of the back; however, on hot days when everything is having very loose, I can just manage to work it out in a warm, soapy shower. That’s what led to the idea of using a frenum piercing to enhance the security. The yellow patches on the top of the cage are the vent holes which have been sealed with 2-part epoxy to keep my skin from swelling out of the top.
You can also see that I cut out a circular section in the middle of the front slot. That’s so I can better line up the cage in order to use a urinal. It’s just wide enough to fit my little finger up to the second knuckle, which is helpful for hygiene, as it allows me to work some soap in from the front. That’s how I’m able to wear the device for such long periods.
